Office of Community Service Learning - University of Maryland

Community Service-Learning compiles a list of departments that offer service-learning courses. These courses vary widely in how much service is expected, whether it is required or optional, and to what extent it relates to course content. Nevertheless, this list can serve as a guide for you if you are seeking service-learning courses as you register for courses each semester. Community Service-Learning adds to this list on a continual basis. Courses listed as potential service-learning coursed for 2006 should be confirmed in the course catalogue and through conversation with the instructor. If you have additions or deletions, please contact Julie Owen at jeowen@umd.edu.

These departments are those that contain faculty who have inquired seriously about service-learning or faculty who have taught courses with service-learning components.
