Get Involved

Help support the cause to fight hunger and homelessness by getting involved with others who are willing and excited to volunteer and make a difference.

Join the Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week planning team to help plan Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week. The planning committee will be responsible for creating programs, recruiting volunteers, scheduling necessary space, and implementing the events.

As part of the planning team, you will...

  • Gain a greater insight into the issues of hunger and homelessness
  • Work toward positive social change
  • Plan and implement a program or programs to reach out to the campus community
  • Become a leader on campus to raise awareness for hunger and homelessness

Student organizations and campus departments are encouraged to get involved as well!

We are looking to partner with other campus groups, organizations, and departments. If you would like to plan a hunger/homelessness related event, you can submit a proposal form to Patrick Grayshaw, Graduate Coordinator for Community Service-Learning in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union. A wide variety of programs are encouraged from direct service to seminars and workshops.

Those interested should complete our proposal form. You can print the proposal and return it to Patrick Grayshaw - 0110 Stamp Student Union.
